Destroying Angel
I had a dream (Vision) of a huge angel with an equally large sword. This was the biggest angel I had ever seen and it was larger than the earth, I couldn’t even see all of it because it was so big. This angel had his sword above his head ready to strike. I saw this Angel above the earth or hovering specifically over the United States. It appeared that this angel was standing in a gap and the Lord reminded me of 1Chronicles 21:15-16 “ David looked up and saw the angel of the LORD standing between heaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand extended over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell facedown.”
At first I wasn’t sure what purpose the angel had. Was he here to protect us with his sword or inflict punishment? I inquired of the Lord and he said “Wrath” to be exact. I questioned the Lord again because it sounded oddly Old testament-esque. When I asked God why he was doing this he said because of the wickedness. It may have seemed naïve of me to ask what wickedness specifically. He told me to speak on Isaiah 59 and reveal the innocent bloodshed.
Isaiah 59:2-3
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Isaiah 59:18-19 ” According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the islands their due. From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the Lord drives along. Isaiah 59:18-19 NIV
The Lord revealed this verse to me in combination with the vision of the destroying angel to warn people to pray for the Lord to relent. The Lord is asking us to pray for him to relent over the evil this nation has done. At first I wasn’t sure which evil specifically he was talking about. As I continued to pray he told me that the foundations of this country are being shaken because of the innocent bloodshed that occurred at the birth of this nation. When I refer to the foundation of this nation, I am talking about the founders (founding fathers) and the way in which this nation was formed. Our nation has masonic origins which required blood sacrifice and has only grown hungrier specifically for blood and innocence.
At first I was seeing the genocide of the native people and the brutal killing and torture of African people and slavery as the reasoning. God revealed that this was a piece of the machine that fuels our country. He showed me how in every way that there has been innocent blood shed in our country it has acted as food that feeds the entity that our founders dedicated our nation to. Our country was formed under the stipulations of bloodshed and the destruction of innocence. I see this nation as a creature that is hungry for blood and innocence. At the beginning it only required a certain level of blood but as time went on it began to demand more extreme offerings. When I am talking about offerings I am talking about human lives and many of them children lives.
God began to speak to me about how in the old testament many nations and even Israel when they fell away from God would offer their children to a god called molek as child sacrifice.
Leviticus 20:1-5 NIV
“The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing in Israel who sacrifices any of his children to Molek is to be put to death. The members of the community are to stone him. 3 I myself will set my face against him and will cut him off from his people; for by sacrificing his children to Molek, he has defiled my sanctuary and profaned my holy name. 4 If the members of the community close their eyes when that man sacrifices one of his children to Molek and if they fail to put him to death, 5 I myself will set my face against him and his family and will cut them off from their people together with all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molek.”
God revealed that this is how our nation was formed and it is still happening to this day. This is the reason why the wrath of God is coming down. We recognize the innocent bloodshed that has happened to any and all people. The formation of this nation is the wickedness The Lord is talking about. With this insight from the Lord I asked him what we should do. I felt the lord say we should pray that The Lord would relent by praying and fasting.
I felt not only a huge heaviness about this word but also a huge responsibility to share his word. The lord had instructed me through the book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel 33:6 “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.” My heart has been burdened over this word and I know the character of God, and I know his nature, I know that it is not his desire for anyone to perish. Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?”
When I read back through the word I kept hearing “standing in the gap”. In the beginning of this word I saw the angel standing in the gap and as my husband reminded me standing in the gap is almost always synonymous with intercession. The image of the angel standing in the gap is our cue to pray and to intercede. I know 2 Chronicles 7:14 has been mentioned many times this year but if we will humble ourselves, pray and seek the Lord his word says he will heal our land. In closing let us unite in prayer and fasting over our nation for the Lord to relent, let us turn from spiritual blindness and lastly, psalm 34:14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
