I had a vision and it looked like I was at the base of the Himalayan mountains in Nepal. When I saw myself I was at the bottom of the mountain leading up to the mountain and the weather looked very warm. However on the top of the mountain it looked cold, snowy, and icy. I saw Jesus about to start climbing the mountain in full snow gear. He had on a huge coat, goggles, and what appeared to be a ski walking stick. The stick looked more like a pitch fork or something to help pierce the snow. ( god is piercing icy hearts with his love of fire) He also had special boots on that looked like soccer cleats to keep from slipping on the ice to create TRACTION. The cleats really gripped the ground and allowed movement up the mountain. The lord started speaking about traction. He said “What you felt were the brakes being put on your dream was really traction. What seemed like a slowing down of movement was really just a REGRIP.
You are about to go up a slippery slope and he is making sure you have the right equipment to make the climb. Boots that create traction might be part of it. It might be a slower ascend but you certainly will not fall. Psalm 91:12(they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.) Then I saw myself and I must have come from the land because I was at the base of the mountain but I did not have any snow clothes on. I was bare foot wearing shorts, and a tank top and my skin looked tan from the sun. The only way up the mountain was to get on Jesus back. So I got on his back like a piggy back and we began to walk up the mountain. The Lord told me the mountain represented the 7 spiritual mountains. He said that this mountain in particular was the business mountain. I noticed how slippery it was and the Lord called it a slippery slope. After we had been walking for a while we hit a warm spot on the mountain where the grass was exposed.
I felt the lord speaking Hebrews 4:13 When I heard the word exposed. “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”Then I saw something moving quickly in the grass. It was a python. The Lord took his pitch fork and skewered it and held it up. He said in the most nonchalant voice ” Hey look, a snake in the grass”.When venturing up the business mountain beware of snakes in the grass.”The revelation I felt was that as long as we abide and remain in the Lord on his back he will give divine discernment specifically for business relationships, partners, and collaborations. The Lord kept highlighting the stark difference between the warm weather at the bottom of the mountain and the frigid temperatures as he went up the slope of the mountain.
Warm temperatures represent where we come from which is often times comfort and places that don’t require a lot of risk. I felt the Lord warning that snakes can even come and thrive from a place we used to know and places that feel familiar. The Lord was impressing on me that the higher the altitude you climb the more aware you have to be of the hidden and elusive manner of the python. When researching I found that pythons are native to Nepal and I wanted to know why the Lord said python specifically. The difference between a python and any other snake is that the Python snake is the largest NON venomous snake in the world. Which means the prey will not die from a bite but by constriction. Pythons like most snakes are ambush predators. So they wait in the grass or hidden to trap and ambush. Then they will wrap around and suffocate.https://www.google.com/amp/s/nepalensis.com/python-snake-nepal/amp/Photo credit: Trekking in the Nepal Himalaya
