I wrote this word on November 24th 2020 but I did not feel the lord instructing me to release the word at that time. As we are on the cusp of 2022 I felt the Lord placing this word on my heart. He said, It is time! As we step into 2022 we are stepping into a new era, a new power and a major shift.
For a few months I have been hearing the words “winds of change”. I felt in my spirit so strongly that the Lord was blowing a fresh wind or “new wave” of wind on the continent of Africa. I can’t describe the feeling of this wind I was sensing but then the lord reminded me of a scripture.
John 3:8
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
I wasn’t sure what this meant but I kept hearing the word liberation. A new level of liberation, liberation of the mind,, body soul and spirit, liberation of old ideals and patterns. Lastly a drastic liberation from the influence of Western countries and a power switch..
There is a new global shift happening and I am seeing the continent of Africa at the forefront. Many may have viewed the continent as an underdog. However I saw a great new level of power specifically in response to a new level of unity. I saw an image of the countries linked together. In this vision it was like i saw little kids making a chain link out of colorful paper and these colorful chain links were connecting the countries. No longer chains of oppression but a chain link of unity that will make this continent the most powerful continent in the world.
The lord had led me to a speech by UK Prime Minister Harold McMillan titles “Winds of Change”. This speech was made after world War 2 and the premise of the speech was that Brittain planned to decolonize Africa. The Prime Minister’s quote that sums up his point was, “The wind of change is blowing through this continent, and whether we like it or not, this growth of national consciousness is a political fact. We must all accept it as a fact, and our national policies must take account of it.”
I believe that in this new Era countries that have been devastated by colonization will get a 2nd wind, a wind of change is coming and has come. These countries will rise together in a new strength. They will rise strong because of the global Diaspora. They will rise not because they are one nation but because they are one people.
Change is imminent and the winds of change are coming.
